It was a true New England variable ski day today and for the first time, we broke out some klister! Now that you (or your child), has that sticky stuff on their skis, how do you get it off?
First- take those skis out of the ski bag before the klister oozes out onto the inside of the ski bag and bring them inside where it’s warm.
Next, you will need a scraper or a putty knife and you will scrape off as much of the klister as you can. Then, you will take some wax remover and some fiberlene or a paper towel, and you will rub some wax remover onto the ski. Let it sit a minute. Then take your paper towel and wipe off all the excess klister. Don’t forget to wipe off the sidewalls too. Now your skis are ready for the power again. Here is a short How-To video:
