It’s February break, there’s pitiful snow and rain in Vermont, and we heard reports of great skiing in that great big country north of our border. So we took a field trip! In Orford, a crew of BKL skiers found 40+km of classic and skate skiing on natural snow…something we have seen precious little of in what I am calling “The Year of the Purple Klister”. Here are some photos, mostly of the Devo group which I (Adam) was skiing with.
Overall this had to be one of the most fun skis of the year for me, and hopefully for everyone else too! I can think of one other day this season where we’ve skied a loop longer than 5km, so it was quite surreal to have so many trails at our disposal. That feeling was made even more unique because it was the first trip there for many, so we didn’t know what lay around each turn. A great place to check out for anyone in VT with the purple klister blues!
