Wow!! The 2015 BK Festival was a BLAST. Not only did the kids and families have a great time but NWVT and MNC had terrific results.

Saturday Skate Relay – teams of 2

Grade 1/2 1st place Niko Cuneo and Brady Morigeau
Grade 3/4 Girls 1st Place Esther Cuneo and Virginia Cobb
Grade 5/6 Girls 1st Place Quincy Massey-Bierman and Camille Bolduc, 2nd Place Hattie Barker and Ava Thurston

Vermont State HS Nordic Results

Congrats to all the excellent performances last Thursday at the State Champs!! MNC athletes all over the top-20 in boys and girls races! MNC Boys take 1-2-4-6-8 and gals take 3-7-8-10 in Division 1!!

Free Ski and Rental at Mt. Top 2/28

Of interest to those BKL families going to the festival. Come and scope scope out Mt Top and enjoy 40km of groomed snow-laden trails and another 20km of packed trail around the reservoir.

Their goal is to have Festival race course maps posted outside for any BKL-ers who might come.

EHSC / U16 Qualifier

The Birkie

MNC Club President Kort Longenbach skied the Birkie yesterday with his son Sam. Kort finished in a very respectable 4:14:13 good for 2014th place over all and 1741 in his class. Sam put the hurt on his dad and skied to 1141st over all and 1014th in his class with a very fast time of 3:38:41. Liam John also particpated in the 54K Classic placing 5th in his class and 26th overall.
MNC’s fastest “Junior” Master as we call him – Tim Janson – smoked a wicked fast 51 km at 2:55:44 and finished 272nd over all and 253 in his class.
