It was a cold day for our trip up to Craftsbury this year. Seven hardy BKLers bundled up, waxed their classic skis and headed out on Ruthie’s Run to enjoy the beautiful classic tracks and trails at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. It is such a beautiful place to ski and the grooming is always perfect!
We found ourselves back at the Center just in time for lunch with big appetites! All sorts of food appeared and quickly disappeared! After lunch, this hardy bunch was ready for more so we switched to skate skis and headed out for more fun. Coach Rosemary and Coach Emilie set up cones on Chip Hill and we practiced our slalom and seeing how far we could glide. We even did a slalom down and back up relay! After that, we played on snow-making hills and rollers and had a relay race over them all! A fun day!
