Thanks to everyone who came out to the MNC Duathlon this past Sunday! MNC Duathlon BKL Race Notes

For the BKL Duathlon Race at Craftsbury on Sunday: Register on Ski Reg by Friday night, or Day of Race registration is available for an increased fee.

Wax Tip: See wax tip posted.

Kick Waxing: Rick Costanza will be under the MNC tent on the lower soccer field. Bring your classic skis there to get help with grip wax. *Throw in your no-wax if you have them, waxing could be tricky.

Previewing the Course: Rosemary will be busy timing the races but Coaches Eden, Emilie, & Tom will be there to help you preview the course and Coach Luke & Brad Carlson will be in the transition zone to help you set up your skate skis.

What time to arrive: Arrive at noon, so you have plenty of time to register, preview the course, get your skis waxed and your skate skis set before your race. Older kids arrive by 12:30.

Don’t forget to Bring Cookies or Snacks to share after the race!

Friday Fox 1/18 & 1/20 Update

An update for this week: Fri 1/20 there is a High School race scheduled for the range, there will be a lot of the top high school racers in the state racing a pursuit style race.  This will be an extremely fun, exciting race to watch, however it does not  provide us with the opportunity to hold our normal practice.

So, I know the MMU team would love as many spectators as possible, so plan to come to the range and check out some, awesome, fast skiing, race starts 4pm! MMU coach Eric Barker also has some volunteer positions still available, if anyone would like to help out on that front as well.  There will be a volunteer meeting at 3pm in the timing building and here is a link to sign up for available positions:

SOOOO, we would like to offer a bonus day up at the range tomorrow (1/18) to get some good skiing in.  The trails should be in great shape in preparation for the big race Fri.  Lets plan to meet at 3:40 down by the building.  You can either ski the trail down and around or walk down the walk way.

Please remember the 25mph speed limit within range property, no walking on the snow covered trails, bring a water bottle, there is no drinkable water at the range, and we need to be off premise at 5pm, practice will conclude at 4:45.
