Stowe Mini Marathon – TOKO Wax Tips

http://www.tokous.com/Waxtips/New%20England%20New%20York/new_england_wax_tips.htm

Stowe Mini Marathon

Online registration closes today. Race day reg is $5 more.
I will bring a bench and klister to help with kick wax.  This will take a while to get everyone dialed in so come early. Feel free to try the klister application at home (at least the base binder) if you are comfortable with the procedure.  If not please bring clean skis – all kick wax removed and a clean, dry kick zone.
Frost Mountain Nordic BKL Club Race

For those going to the Frost Mtn Race the waxing should be the same or very close the recommendations for the Stowe Mini.

BK and Masters Thursday 1/3/13

We will be classic skiing on Thursday at the range.  Lots of new snow!!!

Reminder – please drive slowly on the National Guard roads and Ethan Allen Road.   Be especially careful driving down the hill from the range – the bottom corner can get slick.

New Years Day Ski

BK Racing and Masters – We will kick off the new year with a ski at Trapps instead of the range to take advantage of the holiday and lots of new snow.

11:00 AM – 12:00 noon: BK classic ski with Rick and Andy.  Masters that want some coaching meet with Christa and Leigh.

12:30 until sometime in the afternoon BK, Parents and Masters  – a social ski with mixed groups for tour of the trails.   Choice of technique.

We do not have a full complement of coaches so Jackrabbits are welcome to come along for the tour but parents will have to help out so everyone is accounted for. Some groups will be moving faster then others.

Classic Waxing – Try to dial in your classic wax before you arrive to speed up the process. We will help you upon arrival but we’d like to be skiing by 11 AM so come a few minutes early to get a trail pass and check wax.  It should be a nice hardwax day.
