The Mansfield Nordic Community Center (MNCC) is our club’s resource for strength training, events, meetings, and more! But how do you get there, and where do you park? Read More about “Parking at the MNCC”…
Head over to Lake Placid for one of the best events of the fall! The Climb to the Castle Rollerski Race.
MNC travels to this event as a mini-training camp. We’ll depart and carpool to LP early on Saturday morning, compete in the 3k and 1.5k skate rollerski races at the Olympic Jumping Complex, and then have time to explore downtown and relax.
We will be staying at the High Peaks House adjacent to High Peaks Cyclery in downtown Lake Placid.
On Sunday morning, we will make breakfast and then head down to Whiteface to race up the Toll Rd in the premiere event of the weekend.
Athletes may choose to race Saturday, Sunday, or both days. This trip is a lot of fun and a great chance to get a change of scenery from VT after a few weeks at school. Trip cost includes transportation (carpool drivers reimbursed for fuel), meals, and lodging. It does NOT include race entry (via SkiReg: be sure to have Mansfield Nordic Club as your affiliation/team!).
To register for this trip visit the MNC Registration page. Please note that if you are an MNC Academy student-athlete you are ALREADY registered for this trip!
