NWVT BKL Mini Fest: Registration OPEN

Good News!  NWVT BKL District Clubs (MNC, Frost Mt, Sleepy Hollow & Mad River) have decided to band together to hold our own Mini-BKL Festival this year on March 6, at Sleepy Hollow. This will be different than the big New England Festivals for COVID reasons, but we think it will be fun and a nice event for the kids.

The format will be skate races in the morning, traditional BKL distances, all featuring a little snow-cross course as part of the race course to make things more fun. There will be a self-guided mini-marathon course to do after (or before) kids race.  As per Vermont COVID guidelines, there will be no spectating at the races. Parents will be able to ski the mini-marathon course with their children.  There will also be a “Try-it” Category for tentative first-time racers and a mini-marathon-only option for those who want to skip the racing altogether.

Registration on SKIREG is now Open. Deadline to register is March 3. Registration is capped to 125 total participants so don’t delay in registering because we expect it to fill up!
