Rosemary Shea-Cobb —- Head Masters Coach
Rosemary oversees all of MNC Masters programs.
Rosemary has coached with MNC since 2012 and is heading up our Masters Program for 2023/24. A US Ski & Snowboard Level 200 Certified XC Coach, she also helps coach the Juniors in the summer and is part of our Eastern Cup waxing team. In 2015 Rosemary became MNC’s BKL Head Coach and ran the program through last year. She was awarded NENSA’s Bill Koch Leadership Award in 2022.
Rosemary’s involvement with coaching began at Craftsbury shortly after college where she taught skiing to all ages and developed her own love of training and racing. She moved on to coach at Essex High School and run the Catamount Trail Association. After starting a family, Rosemary became involved with MNC, coaching BKL and taking her children to races. Rosemary lives in Westford, is married to Max Cobb, and has three mostly grown children who all continue to love skiing and racing.
Christa Alexander:
We all know Christa as the local Jericho Settler’s Farm owner, but she is also a long-time MNC masters coach and former Williams College skier.
Christa has a knack for helping people develop a feel for the body position and balance needed to improve technique, and she makes it fun! During the winter, Christa leads Masters skiers in the afternoon sessions from 3:45-5:15PM.
Two children and the year-round farm business keep Christa and husband Mark hopping 24/7!
