Information and links that may be helpful when it comes to athlete nutrition, disordered eating support, local in-person resources and references, and more.
It’s important to remember that as a TEAM we can all (coaches, athletes, parents, siblings, friends, relatives) be in positions to provide help and support with nutrition and fueling. This doesn’t mean everyone needs to be able to provide all the answers all the time. But it does mean we can strive create an environment where nobody feels like they can’t express concern, reach out, or seek support.
Resources like clinics or professionals cannot have a positive impact on someone if there is never a connection made. Hopefully this resource list will grow (please reach out with suggestions), and we can all do our best to work toward good health and support.

IN-PERSON RESOURCES
A resource with an office and specialists in Burlington. You’ll find this space located adjacent to City Market in downtown Burlington. Specific areas of support range from sports nutrition to eating disorders.
For those interested in sports psychology. MNC athletes may be familiar with Sheila through either individual counseling or through school programs (Sheila often goes group work with local high school teams and groups).
For those interested in sports nutrition and performance-based guidance for best athletic health. Jamie has done several group meetings with MNC both in-person and online, and she can also help point you in the best direction for other nutritional assistance!
