New England BKL Festival

This event is so much fun and this year, it’s not too far away! MNC always has a good crowd of kids at every Festival and they have so much fun racing and playing on skis together!  There are races each day (first day relay, second day individual) and a whole lot more- face painting, animal trail in the woods, a family mini-marathon, a terrain park, 8th grade graduation, and an opening parade. Kids who don’t want to race can register for the Nordic Adventure and do all the other activities.  We’ll have a team of coaches on hand to help with wax and we’ll get a potluck going for lunches.

Most MS Racers will be racing and the rest of us will do a ski practice and then watch and cheer on those racing if there is time. Meet me at 10 AM outside the Touring Center. The parking lot close to the Touring Center will probably be full, so parents may want to drop off kids and equipment by the Touring Center before parking in the overflow lot across the road. Kids will need to buy their own trail pass. I will email if plans or times change.
