Join us for this 43rd Annual 10km Freestyle (skate ski) Race. Located on the grounds of the historic Mount Washington Hotel and the White Mountain National Forest, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is one of the largest cross country areas in the East.

Staged between the historic Mount Washington Hotel and majestic Mount Washington, the New England Ski Museum’s Bretton Woods Nordic Marathon at Omni Mount Washington Resort has quickly become a North Country winter tradition. This 42-kilometer, classic format, cross-country ski race showcases one of the largest Nordic systems in the northeast. In the tracks of the famed 1982 US National Championships and such legends as Bill Koch and Tim Caldwell, this race is steeped in history and Nordic skiing tradition.

New England’s oldest classic ski marathon is back for 2018! This year the marathon will be Day 2 of the Fischer Sports Marathon Ski Festival, with two days of SuperTour racing occurring the same weekend. We are working on additions to the marathon course for 2018, aiming for a 16k lap that uses new terrain in addition to old favorites.
Race Information:
Classic Wave Start. All women’s distances start at 9:00am, with all men at 9:05am. BKL racers (1 lap only) start at 9:10am.
Zak Cup participants will contest the 3-lap 48k marathon distance unless they are M7 or above, in which case they will race the 2-lap 33k.

2018 will be the 15TH year that the White Mountain Classic event has taken place here in Jackson, NH. This event has acted as the NENSA 1 day club championship. The favorite event lunch run by the Jackson Grammar School also acts as a one of the school’s major fundraisers. This has been a wonderful community event for 15 years and we look forward to another wonderful race in 2018.
